Take the guesswork out of combining colored pencils and watercolors by learning to make and use a color predictor. Then start on your first mini-project: painting and coloring yellow candy-covered chocolates by applying watercolor over your colored pencil layers.

04: Landscape Project Part 1

Put your skills to work as Janie introduces your big project: a highly textural landscape with vibrant colors, depth, and water reflections. You’ll start by adding watercolor washes for all elements, followed by foliage, leaf, and grass textures. Next, you’ll learn to create a feeling of space and strong composition in your landscapes.
